Tell us about your case
Paste your refusal letter and what you know about the school's admission arrangements, and attach any related documents you have. Covers ordinary admission appeals (oversubscription and procedural grounds) across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland - not a named-placement SEN plan dispute (EHCP, IDP, CSP, or a statement of SEN), which follows a separate tribunal process.
Copy and paste as much as you can - for example:
- the school name and the year group applied for
- the reason given for refusal
- the appeal deadline, if stated
- your local authority
- anything else from the refusal letter

Case documents (optional)
Upload your refusal letter and, if you have it, the school’s published admission arrangements / oversubscription criteria - these help us assess your grounds accurately. Also attach anything else relevant to your case, whatever it is: a medical or social worker’s letter, proof of a sibling relationship or shared address, evidence of distance or your journey to school, a faith supplementary information form, correspondence about a procedural issue, or any other document that supports what you’ve told us. PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF are supported: up to 25 files, 28MB combined, 25MB per document or 10MB per photo.
